Country Garden

This garden is an example of my Gardening Buddy Service where I work with my clients to get the very best from their gardens.

The owner of a large country garden booked a consultation, the garden having suffered neglect for a year, due to other commitments.  This was followed up with a request for me to work with her on a regular basis.

Working together, we have slowly taken control of wayward trees and shrubs and have given each border an identity.  One long narrow, border, that was particularly loathed, is now loved and contains a woodland border, a rose garden and a billowing perennial border.

With her new found knowledge and confidence, this particular lady took it upon herself to remove some uninspiring, overgrown shrubs from a small border near her back door. This north facing bed now contains a wonderful selection of Ferns, Hostas and Brunnera.
